Reliable Backup for High-Power Network Devices

The NBS-UPS35W is built for routers, gateways, modems and network devices that draw more power than a standard mini UPS can support. Many broadband devices need more than 12V 2A or 12V 3A backup, and undersized backup power can cause a device to fail to start, reboot repeatedly or lose connection during an outage. The NBS-UPS35W delivers a 12V 5A output built for these higher-load devices, so equipment stays running through a power cut instead of dropping offline. It switches to battery automatically with zero transfer time, so there’s no reboot when grid power returns.

At the core is a 77.7Wh lithium battery. At a 12W load it holds roughly four to five hours, dropping to about two to three hours at 24W, one and a half to two hours at 36W, and around one hour at 60W. Actual backup time depends on your device’s real power draw, so it helps to confirm this before deployment.

Simple Setup for Higher-Load Devices

Setup follows the same plug-and-play pattern as other mini UPS models. Connect the 12V adapter to the input port, plug your router, gateway or modem into the output port, and flip the switch. The case measures 100 x 100 x 60mm and weighs 490g, a bit larger than standard low-power models to fit the bigger battery and higher output, but still compact enough to sit next to network equipment in a cabinet or on a shelf.

Built-In Safety and Protection

The NBS-UPS35W includes smart BMS protection and a fire-resistant ABS housing, built for stable DC output through repeated outages. Four LED indicators show battery and charge status at a glance, and the unit carries CE, FCC and IEC62368 certification.

If your routers or gateways draw more current than a standard mini UPS provides, the NBS-UPS35W keeps them online without the reboot cycles or dropped connections that come from undersized backup power.

Best Uses for the NBS-UPS35W

  • High-power WiFi routers
  • Network gateways
  • Higher-load modems
  • Selected ONT and CPE devices
  • ISP and telecom deployment projects

Dependable Power for Demanding Network Equipment

The NBS-UPS35W is built for devices that outgrow a standard low-power mini UPS. It handles higher current draw, holds a larger battery for longer runtime and keeps routers, gateways and modems online through outages that would otherwise interrupt service.

Is the NBS-UPS35W better than a standard 12V 3A mini UPS?

It’s built for devices that need higher current support, not automatically the better pick for every setup. The right model depends on your device’s actual load.

Yes, it’s designed for higher-load 12V applications. Confirm voltage, current, connector size and your device’s real power draw before deployment.

It depends on the connected load. At 12W it runs roughly four to five hours, and runtime drops as the load increases.
